Huband Park Elementary is closed Thursday, Dec. 17 as a result of flooding following the heavy rainfall and accumulation of groundwater during the past few days.
The flow of water in the school has ceased, however, maintenance staff will require a full day to clean up the residual water and dry the classrooms before operations can continue.
Parents, staff, students, and the community are encouraged to refer to the school district website and social media channels for the latest developments and updates. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
