The Kumugwe Dancers will perform at the K’ómoks First Nation National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations.

K’ómoks First Nation is inviting the general public to its annual National Indigenous Peoples Day (NIPD) celebration.

For many years, the Comox Valley has come together at the main village site of the K’ómoks First Nation to celebrate the vibrant, diverse, and timeless cultures of the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples of Canada.

This year will feature special events and activities for the whole family.

Take in the powerful dance performances, browse indigenous arts & crafts, and indulge in tasty traditional foods. Experience hands-on workshops, info booths, traditional activities, a Kids Zone and much more.

The event takes place on June 21 - National Indigenous Peoples Day - from 4-8 p.m., at 3320 Comox Rd., Courtenay. Admission is free.
