Weird Church in Cumberland announces December events focused on the theme, “Love Embodied.”

What would it mean to walk in the world as love embodied? To love constantly, instantly, spontaneously, without thought or words, not as something you think about, but rather a state in which you dwell.

Weird Church services and events are open and available to everyone in the community regardless of religious affiliation, gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation, race, etc.

Weird Church hosts a Sunday Service at 4 pm at 2688 Penrith Ave. in Cumberland and online at www.weirdchurchcumberland.com

Weird Church in the Woods

Saturday, Dec. 4, 3 p.m.

Using wireless technology to remain safely distanced, participants will journey into the woods and deep into themselves for this walking meditation and time to reflect on how individuals can live lives of love.

Coffee and Conversations that Matter

Tuesday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m., 2688 Penrith Avenue & 6:30 p.m. online

Bring a chair and a cuppa joe and join in an open-minded, spiritually- grounded conversation on about love embodied.

Truth & Reconciliation Team Monthly Zoom Meeting

Saturday, Dec. 11, 12:30 p.m. Anyone in the community is welcome to join us as we seek to live out our commitment to reconciliation.

A Weird Christmas

Friday, Dec. 24, 4 p.m. at 2688 Penrith Ave.

Carols, candles, and stories – Christmas Eve for all ages! All are welcome to come hear a simple re-telling of the mystical, magical, ancient story of the very first Christmas. The service will end with participants heading into the village with candles and singing Silent Night.
