Macdonald Wood Park Society contributes to restoration project

The Macdonald Wood Park Society raised $500 to support Project Watershed’s purchase of Kus-Kus-Sum.

Project Watershed and the K’ómoks First Nation reached an agreement with Interfor Corporation to purchase and restore the former Field sawmill site on the Courtenay River near the 17th Street bridge.

The total project cost is estimated at $6 million.
