Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society Visitor Centre in Merville now open

Grand opening weekend was a hit

Area directors Brenda Leigh of Strathcona Regional District and Edwin Grieve of Comox Valley Regional District cut the ribbon to open the Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society’s new visitor centre in Merville, Saturday afternoon.

The Centre is now open to visitors Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come learn the stories of our wildlife patients, meet our educational birds and see our displays.

MARS Wildlife Rescue Visitor Centre is located just off Highway 19A in Merville at 1331 Williams Beach Road. For more information check our website: marswildliferescue.com, or phone 778-428-2000.
