The tomato is the most widely grown vegetable in home gardens of North America. On Thursday April 6 at 7 p.m. come to the Comox Valley Growers and Seed Savers meeting to find out more about how to grow the tomato well in the Comox Valley. Organic farmer Arzeena Hamir will lead the discussion on how best to start, transplant, grow and harvest this wonderful fruit. CVGSS members will also share their ideas and methods to give you a head start this spring.
