The nomination period for the 2024 Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards is opening soon, giving local people the chance to celebrate excellence in the Comox Valley.
Nominations for the 2024 Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards will open on Monday, September 30, and will be accepted until Friday, November 8. This is your chance to recognize the outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals that make our community thrive. Access the nomination form on the Chamber’s official website.
This year marks a monumental 50th Anniversary of the Chamber Awards, a tradition that began in 1974. Over the years, we have celebrated the remarkable contributions of the people who have helped make the Comox Valley an amazing community. There are 15 categories to nominate in and 16 Awards in total including Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, #yourock Youth Award, Family First Award, Land of Plenty Award, Diversity and Inclusion Award, Sustainability Award, Not For Profit Organization, Customer Service, Heritage Recognition, Innovative Business, Business Leadership, Lifetime Achievement Award and finally the President's Merit Award.
Nominations are grassroots, coming from community members who believe in the nominees’ impact. An esteemed panel of judges will review all submissions, narrowing down the winners from three finalists per category. This information will be kept under lock and key until the annual Chamber Awards Gala on January 25, 2025, at the Florence Filberg Centre.
