Overdose memorial on display at Courtenay Airpark

Judith Conway’s visual representation of lives lost to overdose is now on display at the Courtenay Airpark, running along the fence. The memorial display, which has been blessed by Pope Francis includes 4,000 strands of yarn, each strand representing someone who died of an opioid overdose in Canada in 2017. Conway’s son, Matthew, died of an overdose that year.
