Point Holmes Recreation Association AGM upcoming

Everyone is welcome to attend the Point Holmes Recreation Association (PHRA) annual general meeting, being held Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m. under the new pavilion located by the boat ramp on Lazo Road, Comox.

“2020 is the 53rd year of the PHRA and we are proud to continue our work maintaining and improving the boat ramp and waterfront areas,” said spokesman Rob James.

The association’s activities are funded 100 per cent by boat ramp daily fees, annual memberships and corporate sponsorships from local businesses and individuals. Memberships will be available at the AGM: $35/yr for boats and trailers, $20/yr for launching of kayaks and SUP. Sponsorships for the online RAMPCAM are also being accepted, at www.pointholmesrecreation.ca/rampcam
