There’s nothing better than summer camp, and St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Comox invites you to join them in a longstanding tradition - Vacation Bible Summer Camp! This year’s theme is Shipwrecked, and kids ages 4-11 are welcome to join in and imagine they are on a deserted island together.

At Shipwrecked, kids will participate in memorable learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats and make an incredible wooden craft (we won’t spoil the surprise, but it’s something that actually works).

St. Peter’s Anglican has hosted Vacation Bible Camps for the past 30 years. St. Peter’s is a vibrant and dedicated parish, established in 1891, in the heart of Comox.

St. Peter’s is excited to welcome registrants to Shipwrecked Vacation Bible Camp, which runs from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday, July 30 to Thursday, Aug. 2 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 218 Church St. in Comox, right across from the Church Street Bakery.

Kids can expect to make new friends, learn new skills and listen to Bible stories come to life. Each day concludes with the “Sail Away Sendoff” that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at noon. On the last day there will be a barbecue lunch for the campers and their families. And, there is an opportunity to meet up again for a reunion on Saturday, Sept. 15 – details will be given during the camp.

Registration is free and can be done online at www.stpeterscomox.ca by clicking on the link to Shipwrecked, or by calling the St. Peter’s office at 250-339-2925.
