The Pop Up features free play and unstructured activities. Activities are set up around playground equipment and include a water table, sand table, bubbles, nature-based crafts, play dough, balls, hula hoops and more. Participants are free to roam the stations and stay for as long as they want.

This free program is drop-in (registration not needed) and is offered to all families and childcare providers living in or visiting the Comox Valley. Please note that parental supervision is required.

The Courtenay program runs Wednesdays, Aug. 2, 9 and 16 at Martin Park, located at 20th Street and Choquette Road, from 10 a.m. – noon.

Parents and caregivers are asked to bring everything needed for a trip to the park including sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, blankets and snacks.

There are also Summer Pop Ups taking place in Comox, Cumberland and Black Creek.
