Readers take the Comox Valley Record along for a holiday

When it comes to spreading the news, readers of the Comox Valley Record are number one. They enjoy packing a copy of their favourite hometown newspaper with them as they travel the globe to celebrate special occasions, visit friends and family, enjoy a relaxing vacation or see some of the world’s many historical and geographical landmarks. Take us along on your next trip and send your photo to editor@comoxvalleyrecord.com or drop it off at our office. It could be featured in The Record.

Al and Wendy Tippett took The Record with us to Ostia Antica, the ancient port of Rome at the mouth of the River Tiber.

Wally & Lynn Lewis and Leif & Charlene Wadelius took the Comox Valley Record for a walk on the beach on South Padre Island, Texas in March.

Penny Hayworth of Courtenay took The Record with her to Sighisoara Romania, the birthplace of Vlad The Impaler, the forerunner to Dracula. Here is his monument.

Jim and Joyce Sparks enjoyed the sights and sounds for a day at the Masters Golf Tournament 2018 in Augusta, Georgia. Not only did we see Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples and more we also brought the Comox Valley Record on the trip.
