Teams in the Great Valley Rally hit the streets in Cumberland Saturday morning, solving clues, completing tasks and navigating their way through a series of check stops en route to Filberg Park in Comox.

In keeping with the theme of Musical Icons Throughout the Decades, there were tributes to Devo, Minnie Pearl and Elvis.

The event raises money for community associations. This year’s recipient is the Filberg Heritage Lodge Park Association.
