Tibetan carpets, Ugandan bags and scarves from the Peruvian Andes were among the items on sale at the annual Fiesta World Craft Bazaar, which opened Saturday at the Filberg Centre in Courtenay.
The 26th annual, two-day event features 50 vendors and 120 tables. Five vendors are from Vancouver, the rest from the Comox Valley and other parts of the Island. All profits support projects in Africa, Asia, and Central and South America.
