This Thursday, the Comox Town Residents’ Association will show two films at d’Esterre House Seniors’ Centre in Comox, beginning at 7 p.m.
One Water is a stunning film that celebrates the myriad ways that water affects lives around the globe. Land of Oil and Water follows the journey of Warren Cariou, a Métis writer who talks to residents in northern Saskatchewan about their hopes and fears of development in their homeland.
Both films are presented courtesy of the World Community Education Society. Everyone is welcome.
