The Wachiay Friendship Centre will hold its annual general meeting Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m.

The Wachiay Friendship Centre will hold its annual general meeting Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m.

The AGM will be at Wachiay Friendship Centre at 1625B McPhee Ave. in Courtenay.

Wachiay has been in operation since August 1995, serving the off- reserve/urban aboriginal population of the Comox Valley. Operations/ services have grown over the years, to where we provide services to everyone in the Comox Valley.

Programs currently offered include: Homeless Outreach, Advocacy, FASD Youth Legacy, FASD Keyworker, Raven Back Youth, Elder Support, Roots and Health Partnerships.

All members of Wachiay can participate at the AGM, and membership can be renewed at the meeting. For details, contact Wachiay at 250-338-7793.
