Courtenay voters, get ready to cast your ballots at the upcoming City of Courtenay election on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Eligible voters in Courtenay will elect one mayor, six councillors, and two school district trustees for Courtenay (Trustee Electoral Area 1).

Voting Opportunities

Advance Voting, Wednesday, Oct. 5, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Native Sons Hall, 360 Cliffe Avenue

Advance Voting, Wednesday Oct. 12, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Ave

General Voting Day, Saturday, Oct. 15, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Queneesh Elementary School, 2345 Mission Road

Voters List

The City of Courtenay uses the provincial voters list prepared by Elections BC. If you aren’t on the list, or if your Courtenay address has changed recently, you can still vote by showing two pieces of ID, at least one that includes your current residential address. One piece of ID must also include your signature.

Mail Ballot Voting

All eligible electors for the City of Courtenay may apply to vote by mail. Ballots must be received no later than 8 p.m. on Oct. 15.
