Black Creek artisan Doug Walker earned the People’s Choice prize at the recent Castlegar Sculpturewalk Awards.
Walker, who creates artistic fountains, won the honour with something he calls Honkfest.
The City of Castlegar spent $3,000 to purchase Honkfest for permanent display.
