After years away and stages afar, beloved vocalist Jenn Forsland returns home to where it all began—joined by her all-star quintet for a soulful night of jazz under the summer sky at 40 Knots Winery.
For nearly two decades, Forsland was a driving force in the Comox Valley’s music scene before relocating to Bangkok, where she continues to shine as a dynamic performer, educator, and musical collaborator.
Now, she reunites with longtime musical partners Rick Husband (guitar), Grahame Edwards (bass), Rachel Cooper (clarinet/sax), and Tom Tinsley (drums – TBA) for an evening steeped in nostalgia, swing, and sonic storytelling.
On June 19, the Jenn Forsland Quintet will treat audiences to a warm, witty, and wide-ranging journey through timeless tunes from the Great American Songbook. Expect everything from the sweet to the sassy, the moody to the mischievous—woven together with Forsland’s signature charm, humour, and heartfelt connection.
Whether you’re a jazz lover or just love a good story set to a swinging beat, this is a night not to miss.
Come early to grab seats, enjoy the beautiful setting and enjoy delicious offerings from our local food truck vendor, or bring a picnic to enjoy with 40 Knots beverages.
