Courtenay concert to support Comox Valley Youth Music Centre scholarship fund

The Comox Valley Youth Music Centre is hosting a fundraising concert Saturday, March 14, 7:30 p.m. at the Church of St. John the Divine.

The concert will feature the Vancouver-based head of CYMC’s Classical Program, violin virtuoso Domagoj Ivanovic, in duet with stunning concert pianist Noel McRobbie.

The program will include Beethoven’s Sonata No. 9 in celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday, as well as works by Brahms, Bartok and more. Concert tickets are $20/adult, $10/student with proceeds going to the CYMC scholarship fund. Tickets are available at the door or on the CYMC website –
