Weird Church is hosting an evening of acoustic blues music, featuring Chad & Larry: Acoustic Blues Duo, June 14.
No matter who we are or where we are in our spiritual journey, the spiritual blues manifest in all of our lives.
Sometimes the blues are a brief but intense visitor, other times they move right in, a constant companion we never invited in.
“All are invited to Friday Feast, a welcoming and radically inclusive community of spiritual seekers, faithful followers, wandering wonderers – our neighbours – at this awesome event, inspired by the great response to May’s Friday Feast,” said Weird Church founder, Rev. Ingrid Brown. “We fill our bellies and nurture our souls with music, food, and stories.”
Chad & Larry: Acoustic Blues Duo will perform amidst conversations about the blues, including short stories about how God has shown up in their lives. Food is provided by Biblio Taco.
The event takes place from 6-7:30 p.m. at Cumberland United Church - 2688 Penrith Ave., Cumberland.
