Bring dad out to a night of classic Eagles music at the Woodland Gardens this Father’s Day.

Eagle Eyes is a tribute band to the music of The Eagles. They are a must see on Father’s Day, June 18, for all Eagles fans as the band has taken great care and dedication to recreating the harmonies and unmistakable sound of the original Eagles.

The Eagles have five number-one singles, six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards. They were one of the most successful acts of the 1970s.

“Many of The Eagles’ songs have moved into classic-rock lore,” says a release from Eagle Eyes. “Who can ever forget the opening brilliant guitar riff of Hotel California or the lyrics of Peaceful Easy Feeling. Eagle Eyes really ‘takes it to the limit’ as they move from one great Eagles song to the next.”

The band Eagle Eyes has plenty of experience as well, having toured all over B.C. and into the United States. The four members have over 120 years of combined experience as professional touring musicians, honing their musical and vocal skills.

Woodland Gardens is a bring-your-own-chair-or-blanket affair and of course enthusiasm for the music of one of the greatest rock bands of all time is appreciated. There’s also a food vendor on site and the ticket price includes regular admission to the Gardens so you can take advantage of the nearly 25 acres.

The show takes place on Father’s Day, June 18. Show starts at 3 p.m. with the gates open at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased in advance at Woodland Gardens, Long & McQuade Music in Courtenay and Music Plant in Campbell River. They will also be available at the gate on show day for $40.

Woodland Gardens is located at 6183 Whitaker Road just north of Courtenay and south of Black Creek.
