The Potter's Place and the Comox Valley Potters' Club will hold their ninth annual Chili Bowl Day on Market Day this Saturday in downtown Courtenay.
This event is held at the Potter’s Place on the corner of Fifth Street and Cliffe Avenue from 10 a.m. until they are sold out of the beautiful hand-crafted pottery bowls made by local artisans. Come early for your bowls and they will fill it with chili for you for $15.
This event will raise funds for beloved local charity You Are Not Alone, as all the money from the sale of the bowls will be given to YANA.
There will also be delicious chili, both vegetarian supplied by Delicados and meat chili supplied by Zocalo Café as well as buns provided by Thrifty Foods. Mudsharks will supply coffee.
The bowls will be displayed so that each customer can choose their own bowl.
