Fundraising cello concert

2:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ the King Church

On Sunday, March 29, local musicians will share their music to help raise money for a Rotary water project in Honduras.

The concert starting at  2:30 p.m. at Christ the King Church (1599 Tunner Dr.) promises a wide range of classical favourites. Helena Jung will play the Preludes from the Bach Suites for solo cello.

Joining Jung will be vocalists Oliver Clarke, Danielle Shepherd and Michael Tran with Maureen Bedford accompanying on the organ.

The Rotary Club of Comox project’s goal is to provide accessible, safe water for eight villages in Honduras.

The concert is free but a donation of $10-$20 would be greatly appreciated. Everyone is welcome.
