Vancouver-based alt / folk trio Willy Blizzard are back in B.C. from touring Alberta, and are delighted to bring their indie-roots sound to Vancouver Island.

Touring in support of their 2010 album In From The Cold, their songwriting has been called "truly gorgeous Canadiana" by Penguin Eggs magazine, Canada's foremost reviewer of contemporary folk music.
The acoustic trio performs alt / folk / country originals featuring superb vocal harmonies against guitar, banjo and stand-up bass. The trio is fronted by John Hough, who you may know from his Travis picking workshops at Vancouver Island Music Workshop. Hard working, hard touring country folk musicians, Willy Blizzard are as tight an outfit as any group on the road today.
