The sounds of jazz will fill the gym at G.P. Vanier Secondary School this Saturday night as music students once again perform at the annual Vanier Jazz Café.
Great music, tasty desserts, delicious drinks, and a café-like atmosphere will all add up to a fantastic evening for all ages.
There will be a mix of instrumental and vocal jazz performed on this evening. The senior jazz band will serve up a variety of jazz from swing to funk which should get your toes a-tapping. The vocal side of things will feature group numbers and soloists.
Tickets are still available. Adult tickets are $10 each and student tickets are $5 each. Tickets are available through the school, or at the door.
In addition to the music and desserts, there will also be a silent auction, and artwork displayed by the visual arts students at Vanier. This event is the major fundraiser for the Vanier music department, it's hoped jazz fans will support the young musicians.
The music starts at 7:30 p.m. and goes until 9:30. Doors open at 7.
