Local author J.P. McLean will sign copies of her new book, The Gift: Awakening, at Abraxas Books on Denman Island this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
McLean’s debut novel, the first in a trilogy, is set in coastal British Columbia. The Gift: Awakening follows the heroic journey of a young woman in her quest to overcome the burden of an extraordinary gift and find her unique place in the world.
