Pianist Sarah Hagen brings her latest chapter of “Wonder Women!” to Comox United Church on Tuesday morning, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m.

Spurred on by enthusiastic responses to past editions of programs celebrating women, Hagen continues to delve into the music and stories of some of her favourite forgotten female composers. The 75-minute recital will highlight piano works by 18th- and 19th-century composers, including Clara Schumann, Cécile Chaminade, Marianne von Martinez, and others.

From the Comox Valley, Hagen enjoys a busy and diverse life touring as both a classical pianist and humorist. Her recent recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations has been nominated for four 2022 Music PEI awards, including Solo Recording of the Year.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at sarahhagen.tickit.ca or reserved by calling 416-454-2363 or emailing info@sarahhagen.com.

Vaccine passports and masks will be required and capacity limits will be enforced in accordance with current health guidelines.
