Pianist Sarah Hagen returns to Comox United on Nov. 26 at 10:30 a.m. with the music of Schubert, Shostakovich and Chaminade. The programme features Schubert’s beautiful Sonata in B-flat major, a timeless, profound, and transformative work.
The morning will also include poetic and lyrical music by Cécile Chaminade, a French composer popular in the early 20th century, and now largely forgotten. Known for her unique, heartfelt interpretations and witty commentary, Hagen tours across Canada and internationally.
