Voices Three trio will be performing a benefit concert by donation on April 5 at the Mex Pub as guests of the 1st Tuesday Fundraiser concert series.
Music starts at 7:30 p.m. and money raised will benefit Comox Valley Hospice Society.
Donations of food for the Comox Valley Food Bank are also appreciated. The trio had planned to do the concert in January but had cancelled due to snow and an advisory of unsafe road conditions.
“It was a disappointment to have to cancel the show, so we appreciate having another opportunity to support hospice,” says organizer Judy Wing.
Joining the songwriting trio members Helen Austin, Sue Pyper and Judy Wing are accompanists Bruce Wing, Jim Stepan and Blaine Dunaway. The monthly fundraising events are sponsored by the Mex Pub in Courtenay.
