Take Us Along: Comox Valley travellers take The Record on holidays with them

When it comes to spreading the news, readers of the Comox Valley Record are number one. They enjoy packing a copy of their favourite hometown newspaper with them as they travel the globe to celebrate special occasions, visit friends and family, enjoy a relaxing vacation or see some of the world’s many historical and geographical landmarks. Take us along on your next trip and send your photo to editor@comoxvalleyrecord.com

Ida Sauve took The Record with her to Orillia, Ont. to celebrate 50 years of nursing with fellow 1968 nursing graduates.

Are you a fan of the Game of Thrones television series? Jennifer & Mike Gibson, Yolande Munroe & Stephen Beirnes, Juanita Munroe & Steve Mohan are, and they took The Record with them to Old Town Dubrovnik, Croatia, where portions of the show were filmed.

Gerry and Anna Turcotte, and their son, Kev, had a memorable Cuban holiday, both at Veradero and Old Havana. Their favourite paper came along.

Ron and Barb Barker recently celebrated their Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary with an extended vacation in France and Spain. And The Record accompanied them in Saint Malo and Ronda.
