When Victoria resident Judith Hunter checked the numbers on her Lotto 6/49 ticket, she froze.
To her surprise, all four of the drawn Extra numbers matched those on her Nov. 23 ticket. She had won a whopping $500,000.
"I was at Shoppers Drug Mart," said Hunter. “The thought that came into my mind was that this wasn’t real. It must be a mistake."
Immediately, she rang her daughter to share the life-changing news.
“I was just so shocked," she said, adding that the first thing Hunter plans to do with the loot is have a "lovely dinner with family."
This winning ticket was purchased at the Walmart at Uptown Mall.
