A year has passed since you left us peacefully, with family and friends by your side. You survived a husband, four of five children, granddaughter, family and friends. Yet your remarkable resilience allowed you to cope with stress and sadness. We loved your hugs and your unconditional love and support. We loved the pride you had of your Irish roots and nursing career. We loved your sense of humour and travel stories. The beautiful memories of the times we've spent together make us smile, only until the moment when they eventually remind us that you're no longer here. Thankfully, our love and memories of you helps to comfort us.
