FEEL GOOD, LIVE RIGHT

Aspen View will be managed by Highstreet, the company that was also responsible for the property’s development and construction. Highstreet has a people-first mindset, with the goal of always doing the right thing for people and planet.

“At Aspen View, we want you to feel happy and stress-free,” says Hayden Redekop, Community Leader at Aspen View. “At Highstreet’s other properties in Alberta and BC, we host activities and events to create community connections. We want to foster that same neighbourly feeling in Comox.

“In this day and age, I think we all have seen how important it is to have a local support system. We want to build that support system for our Community Members.”

In addition to modern, clean suites with in-suite laundry and balconies, Aspen View is also equipped with underground parking, community gardens, a community lounge, fitness centre, and a dog run. Your electricity account will be automatically set up and managed by Highstreet. You will be billed monthly, and payment will be collected with your rent on the 1st of each month.

There will be a dedicated Community Member phone number, on-site staff, a managed Facebook group, and monthly newsletters to keep people in-the-know.

However, Aspen View goes above and beyond these amenities; it also boasts an environmentally advanced design that puts it at BC Energy Step Code 4 and is net-zero energy ready. Highstreet buildings achieve high levels of airtightness, which means that once you have set a preferred temperature for your suite, there are minimal fluctuations, while air quality remains clean. Additionally, solar panels will be installed on the roof, which will help power the common areas and elevators.

“Companies need to be held accountable for their impact on the planet,” explains Redekop. “When Highstreet develops, we put extra time into our designs. When we build, we reduce waste on-site. When we operate, we look at unique ways to build a community.

“If you choose to live with us, you’re supporting a company that is changing the industry.”
