A brief note to thank the (obviously well heeled) Comox Valley Taxpayers Alliance.
Comox Valley residents have all received a glossy, expensively produced brochure listing the candidates they are supporting.
I find it to be a handy list of who to avoid when casting my vote. The full page ads, their tactics and their complete lack of transparency is appalling.
Who are these people? Where does their money come from? Are they actually interested in benefiting the community, or only in lining their own pockets?
There seems to be no way to pull back the curtain to see what lays behind.
