Courtenay resident Brent Flahr has been named the new vice-president and assistant general manager of the Philadelphia Flyers

The move reunites Flahr and Flyers’ GM Chuck Fletcher, as the two were a tandem in Minnesota, from 2009 until Fletcher’s departure from the Wild at the end of last season.
