The bees weren’t the only busy creature at Shamrock Farm on Monday (July 19) as the Anderton Road farm opened their space to Lavender Open Farms Days.

The annual event is free to the public, and owners Shannon and Mike Farrell are encouraging anyone to walk the lavender fields, visit their barn or purchase a variety of treats, including veggies, flowers, lavender soap, products and even lavender gelato.

Bouquets of lavender will also be available for purchase, along with u-cut options.

The event runs from July 19 to 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

There is no admission to visit Shamrock Farm (2276 Anderton Road) during the open farm days, and parking is only available on-site (no road parking). Dogs (except service dogs) are not allowed on the farm, and purchases are available with debit, credit card or cash.
