Campbell River 7-11 robbed at knifepoint

Police are looking for a man after the 7-11 on Dogwood Street in Campbell River was robbed at knifepoint early Tuesday morning.

Police are looking for a man after the 7-11 on Dogwood Street in Campbell River was robbed at knifepoint early Tuesday morning.

On June 19 at 3:00 a.m., Campbell River RCMP responded to a hold-up alarm at the 7-11 located on Dogwood Street, Staff Sgt. Troy Beauregard of the Campbell River RCMP said.

The employee advised that a lone male had entered the store carrying a wood dowel and a knife. The male threatened the employee and smashed the glass countertop before fleeing with a small amount of cash.

Police have recovered a number of items related to this offence which have been seized for forensic examination. The robbery is still under investigation.

The male is approximately six feet tall with a slender/skinny build. He was wearing black track pants and a green jacket with a hood and had a blue item wrapped around his face to obscure his features.
