Comox Valley citizens stand up to defend old growth forests

Friday afternoon motorists were greeted by people with signs at the corner of 17th and Cliffe — repeating the scene the previous Friday (March 19) during Forest March BC.

The movement calls for government to conserve old growth forests, and to reform forestry management in B.C.

It was the fourth Friday in a row that people have gathered in Courtenay to send a message to Premier John Horgan and Forests Minister Katrine Conroy.
