Comox Valley RCMP seeking robbery suspect

The Comox Valley RCMP is asking for help in solving a robbery Saturday when a man entered the Payless Shoesource in Courtenay.

The Comox Valley RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance on a robbery that occurred Saturday shortly  before 5 p.m. when a man entered the Payless Shoesource near Future Shop in Courtenay and demanded money.

He took a small amount of money.

The man is described as Caucasian with a dark complexion, standing six feet to six-feet-four and weighing 200 to 230 pounds. He was wearing a yellow, high-visibility jacket with two orange stripes down the front. He had a darker sweater underneath and heavy boots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
