Nelson started with the city in 2003 and increased her responsibilities over that time. She has a deep background in financial planning and working with the public. Holding a CPA, CGA and being a member of the Government Financial Officers Association, Nelson will continue to ensure a strong financial position and strategic direction for the CVRD.

“Ensuring effective financial planning and fiscal responsibility is a top priority for the CVRD,” said Russell Dyson, chief administrative officer. “We are excited to have Jennifer as part of our team. Our goal is to always deliver affordable top quality services to our residents.”
