The Bridge Lounge is shutting its doors on Saturday after operating the past several decades at the foot of the Fifth Street Bridge in Courtenay.
“This is the end of an iconic building,” owner Nicola Webb said.
Through a court-ordered sale, the City of Courtenay purchased the property for $410,000.
