Starting Oct. 22 and lasting through Nov. 16, BC Hydro crews will work along Hydro's pipeline near the Puntledge River.
They will remove vegetation and small trees, will also conduct pipeline maintenance tests.
"Public and worker safety is our highest priority and BC Hydro appreciates the public’s patience in staying away from this area, from Mondays to Fridays, over the four-week work window," BC Hydro spokesman stephen watson said Wednesday in a news release.
"The trails will be open during weekday evenings, after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Please obey safety signage," he added.
The trails that go along or near the pipeline will be closed as the work takes place. Crews will move their way down one side of the pipeline and then back up the other.
The approximately five-kilometre long, 3.66-metre diameter pipeline runs from the Puntledge River diversion dam to the Puntledge River Generating Station. Hydroelectric operations will be unaffected by this work.
