BC Liberal leadership candidate Dianne Watts addressed a crowd Wednesday at the High Tide Pub in Courtenay. Watts, a former mayor of Surrey, kicked off a province-wide tour on Vancouver Island.

Her opponents for Party leader include former Vancouver mayor Sam Sullivan, former finance minister Mike de Jong, former advanced education minister Andrew Wilkinson, former education minister Mike Bernier, Vancouver-Langara MLA Michael Lee and Terrace businesswoman Lucy Sager.

The Liberals will select their new leader at the Party convention in February.
