Liberal McRae increases percentage of Comox Valley popular vote

The incumbent McRae was the first to crack 1,000 votes with 1,007 (51.43 per cent of the popular vote).

NDP challenger Kassandra Dycke had 637 votes (32.53), compared to 224 ballots (11.44) for Chris Aikman of the Greens and 90 votes (4.60) for Conservative Diane Hoffmann.

McRae expanded his percentage of the popular vote from 47.7 to 51.43 from eight boxes counted, while Dycke

slipped from 37.42 to 32.53.
