With four ballot boxes counted in the Comox Valley, Liberal Don McRae took the lead away from Kassandra Dycke of the NDP.
The incumbent McRae had 117 votes, compared to 83 for Dycke, 16 for Chris Aikman of the Greens and 10 for Conservative Diane Hoffmann.
