The poppy flag was flying in front of the Comox Legion Friday (Oct.29), in conjunction with other municipalities in the Valley in preparation for Remembrance Day next month.

While Nov.11 in the town of Comox will look different from those in the past due to the pandemic, 442 Transport & Rescue Squadron will participate in flyover.

A spokesperson for the Royal Canadian Legion noted a very limited amount of people can attend the physical sites, but each legion in central Vancouver Island will live stream the ceremonies of remembrance.
