Sea cucumber input will still be welcome for awhile

Comments about a 155-hectare sea cucumber tenure in Baynes Sound will be accepted until the final report is written.

Although the formal comment period for the application for a 155-hectare sea cucumber tenure in Baynes Sound finished at the end of July, comments will still be accepted until the final report is written.

Comments can be submitted to the manager of aquaculture for the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations at 2500 Cliffe Ave., Courtenay, B.C. V9N 5M6.

According to a ministry spokesperson, there is no official due date for the report but the application is in the early stages.

The application for tenure stretches between Royston and Union Bay.
