Search continues for missing Comox Valley man

Willem Rennie, 24, was last seen April 19 in the Courtenay area.

The Comox Valley RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating  24-year-old Willem Rennie who was last seen  April 19 in the Courtenay area.

Rennie’s vehicle was located April 22 at the Courtenay Exhibition Grounds on Headquarters Road and Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue efforts did not turn up any indication of his whereabouts.

Rennie is described as 5’6″ (168 cms), 130 lbs (59 kgs) with blond hair, blue eyes and a medium build.

Family and friends of Rennie are very concerned as this is out of the ordinary for him and would appreciate the public’s assistance in locating their loved one.

The Comox Valley RCMP are continuing their investigation into locating this missing person.
