Tomorrow might be a slushy one, with rain and snow in the forecast for east coast Vancouver Island communities from Duncan to Campbell River, as well as Port Alberni.
According to Environment Canada, rain mixed with snow is predicted to start tomorrow (Jan. 8) in the early afternoon. The daytime temperate should sit at a high of 2 degrees Celsius.
Snowfall accumulation of 2-5 centimetres is expected. The forecast calls for more snow or rain overnight.
The Jan. 9 forecast also predicts rain or snow throughout the day with a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius and back to rain overnight.
Rain is forecasted for the rest of the week.
